EMBL, the European Molecular Biology Laboratory
The science education unit of EMBL (www.embl.org) will run two upcoming virtual events for science teachers and students:
- ELLS virtual LearningLAB – modular science teacher training course on the topic of the “microbiome”
The European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS), the science education department of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) invites STEM teachers to the upcoming professional development course on the “microbiome”. The international course, which will take place virtually, has a modular structure which is designed to fit around a busy teacher’s schedule. Participants can attend all four modules or select individual modules. The course will be run in English and is free of charge. Dates: 02.11.2020 – 07.12.2020

2. EMBL Insight Lecture – interactive scientific talk for upper secondary school students
The European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS), the science education department of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) invites you and your students to the live streaming of the EMBL Insight Lecture on 11th of December 2020. EMBL Senior scientist and Director Matthias W. Hentze will talk on “Discover RNA – the language of genomes”, in a lecture specifically designed for 16+ students.
