- NVON-jubileumcongres “Bèta in beweging”
NVON is onze zustervereniging in Nederland waarmee we goede banden onderhouden. Op 3 en 4 oktober organiseren zij hun 50-jarig jubileumcongres “Bèta in beweging”, vol kennis, innovatie en ontmoeting. Laat je inspireren door meer dan 60 workshops en lezingen, ontmoet collega’s uit heel het land én daarbuiten, en ontdek de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op de interactieve expo. - Digiwijs:
Ben je leerkracht lager onderwijs of 1ste graad secundair in Vlaams-Brabant? Dan kan je ook dit schooljaar gebruikmaken van de gratis uitleendienst STEAM-boxen van Provincie Vlaams-Brabant en Edison. Brightlab vulde een aantal van deze boxen met hun materialen, en je kan ook de boxen van andere Edison partners ontdekken. Zo breng je STE(A)M op een creatieve en praktische manier in je klas.

Goed nieuws! Vanaf oktober neemt Brightlab een gloednieuwe opleiding op in haar vaste aanbod: de micro:bit programmeren via Python.
Kom het zelf ontdekken tijdens hun navorming op 15 oktober op imec. En natuurlijk horen daar gratis lesfiches bij!

- Inspiratiedag STEM 2025
Universiteit Hasselt, PXL-Education en de Associatie Universiteit-Hogeschool Limburg (AUHL) willen, samen met leerkrachten en pedagogische begeleiders, leerkrachten inspireren en vooral enthousiasmeren om het STEM-verhaal tot op de klasvloer vorm te geven. Ze doen dit door een kader voor STEM-projecten aan te reiken en vooral door heel veel concreet lesmateriaal voor te stellen.

- FuseNet Teacher Day 2025
We would like to invite you to join the 2025 FuseNet Teacher Day, which will be on: Friday 10 October 2025.
The event will maintain its format of multiple Domestic sessions and a joint European session.
This year, we expect to have several Domestic sessions. As usual, the language used in the Domestic sessions is the locally spoken language. The Domestic sessions will differ per country, as it is organized by your domestic fusion institution.
The European session will consist of a presentation of the current status of our educational materials for high school teachers, with emphasis on the translations into different languages. Online tours at EPFL and ITER, two iconic places for fusion, will be featured as well. Additionally, a segment regarding the pilot initiative of the EU-funded visits to ITER for secondary school teachers will be presented. The European session will be held in English.
